WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has revealed the Weekly Honor Roll, which celebrates student-athletes for their performances during the 2021 spring season. Honorees were nominated for their accomplishments during the May 1-2 weekend of competition.

The Weekly Honor Rolls for softball, baseball, women's tennis and men's tennis are listed below.

Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Lexi Morris, Babson College

Sophomore | Infielder | Lexington, Mass.

Morris batted .692 (9-for-13) with three doubles, a home run, three RBI and seven runs scored in Babson's four-game sweep of Clark over the weekend. She had an extra-base hit in every contest and recorded at least two knocks in all four games as Babson secured its first regular season league title since 2007.

Samantha Restrepo-Stier, Clark University
Sophomore | Shortstop/Third Base | Davie, Fla.

Restrepo-Stier rapped out three hits for the Cougars in a four-game weekend set with Babson, including an RBI single in Sunday's 4-1 series finale setback to the Beavers.

Lindsey Oliveira, Wheaton College
First Year | Infielder | Westport, Mass.
Oliveira, a first year for the Lyons, had three at-bat appearances in game two against WPI this past weekend. Those at bats resulted in two hits and three RBIs. On day two of the four-game weekend series, Oliveira, had a total of five at-bat appearances that resulted in three hits for the Lyons.

Nicole Logrecco, WPI
Sophomore | Third Base | Huntington Beach, Calif.

Logrecco was a doubles machine for the Engineers as WPI swept a four-game series against Wheaton. The sophomore belted five two-baggers, including four during Sunday's doubleheader as the Crimson and Gray pushed its season-high winning streak to 10 games. In the four games, Logrecco batted .462 (6-for-13) with four runs scored and seven runs batted in and did not commit an error in her seven defensive chances at third base.

Baseball Weekly Honor Roll

Jack Pirkl, Babson College

Junior | Shortstop | Brightwaters, N.Y.

Pirkl went 6-for-9 (.667) at the plate with a double, two RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases in a doubleheader sweep of Clark. He had three hits in both contests and also helped turn three double plays as No. 10 Babson wrapped up its fourth consecutive regular season league title.

James Huber, Clark University
Senior | Designated Hitter | Rochester, N.Y.

Huber collected five hits in nine at-bats (.556) in the Cougars' twinbill setback to 10th-ranked Babson, including a 3-for-4 performance in a 6-2 opening game decision and two more hits in the nightcap.

Thai Morgan, Emerson College
Sophomore | Infielder | Waldwick, N.J.

In game two of a doubleheader on Saturday, Morgan went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run scored. Morgan had two RBI doubles in the game, while scoring the go-ahead run in the 8th inning for the Lions.

Ryan Smith, Springfield College
Senior | Infielder| Millis, Mass.

Smith helped Springfield earn a doubleheader sweep of Emerson on Saturday as the Pride clinched a spot in the NEWMAC Championship field. In the 8-1 win to open the day, Smith scored two runs and stole a base before going 2-for-2 with two runs scored in the 8-6 victory to close out the series, and added a tremendous defensive play in the ninth inning to seal the sweep.

Josh Roberge, Wheaton College

Senior | Pitcher | Chelmsford, Mass.
Roberge, a senior for the Lyons, helped the team sweep the four-game weekend series against WPI. Roberge took the win in game two of day one after closing out the game with one strikeout. The senior also helped secure the final win for the Lyons when he closed out the game with a strikeout.

Jacob Hand, WPI
First Year | Outfielder | Niskayuna, N.Y.

Hand's first collegiate start was a successful one as the rookie delivered three hits in four at-bats during WPI's third game of a four-game series at nationally-ranked Wheaton. The outfielder singled and came around to score in the second inning and knocked in a run with a ground-rule double two frames later. Hand, who also added a base hit in the fourth game successfully handled all eight of his defensive chances on the day in right field.

Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

Marissa Madison, Babson College

Senior | Columbus, Ohio

Madison stayed unbeaten on the year with victories in both singles and doubles as Babson defeated Springfield, 8-1, to win its first NEWMAC regular season crown since 2003 on Sunday. She was an 8-4 winner alongside Jane Wang at No. 3 doubles before posting a 6-2, 6-0 result at number No. 3 singles.

Elizabeth Tchantouridze, Clark University
Senior | Northfield, Vt.

Tchantouridze was victorious in both singles and doubles action in the Cougars' 5-4 dual-match setback to Wheaton. She posted a 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles and teamed up with graduate Anna Gates for an 8-5 triumph at the No. 2 doubles position.

Heidi Schuman, Springfield College
Junior| Nassau, N.Y.

In Springfield's regular season finale, Schuman had a strong showing despite setbacks at No. 3 doubles and No. 4 singles as the Pride clinched a spot in the NEWMAC Championship for the first time in program history.

Miriam Galindo Cerrada, Wheaton College
Junior | Madrid, Spain
Galindo Cerrada, a junior for the Lyons picked up two wins this past weekend in their matchup against Clark University. The junior won matches at the No. 2 in singles and at the No. 1 in doubles.

Men's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

Kian Yazdi, Babson College

Junior | London, England

Yazdi picked up two key points as Babson rallied to defeat Coast Guard, 5-4, to win its first conference regular season title since 2015 on Saturday. He teamed with Parker Law for an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles and then rallied from a set down to secure the match by beating Banks Evans, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, at No. 1 singles.

Myles Decoste, U.S. Coast Guard Academy
First Year | Stuart, Fla.

Decoste won at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-7, 6-3 and teamed with Sean Dreher for an 8-6 at No. 2 doubles in the Bears 5-4 loss to Babson on Saturday.

David Kilburn, Springfield College
Sophomore | West Roxbury, Mass.

In Springfield's final match of the season, Kilburn delivered the first win of his career at No. 5 singles as he produced a 7-6, 6-4 triumph for the Pride. He also battled tough with teammate Lucas Van Deventer in an 8-6 setback at No. 2 doubles.

Ian Tracy, Wheaton College
Junior | San Jose | Costa Rica
Tracy, a junior for the Lyons picked up two wins this past weekend in their matchup against Springfield College. The junior won matches at the No. 1 in singles and at the No. 2 in doubles.
